The goal of the project was to create a cohesive visual identity that highlights the multifaceted nature of the institution — a place where local community, history, art, and ethnography come together. A key design approach was to emphasize the diversity of both themes and exhibitions.

The new logo combines shapes inspired by architecture, ethnography, and regional costume. It is supported by a visual system built on forms derived from museum artifacts. The identity was expanded to includea website and a set of materials for social media communication.

An important part of the project was the design of a consistent exhibition and wayfinding system. A visual categorization of exhibits and a clear layout of information panels — based on information hierarchy —make it easier for visitors to navigate and absorb content intuitively.

More than just organizing the museum’s visual communication, the project brings the institution closer to its audience — building a clear, friendly, and engaging presence. The new identity strengthens ties with the local community, celebrates regional heritage, and makes culture more accessible, relatable, and present in everyday experiences.
